Holy geez, my team is busted up already.  I knew Ball would miss a week or two before I drafted him so I can't complain about that.  Same(-ish) thing with Oladipo and Fultz.  But during/after preseason there was no indication that Lavine would be missing time, so that sucks.  And for Turner to injure himself by frickin' stepping on a ball boy during pregame warmups, that's just ridiculous.  The only thing more ridiculous was Porzingis injuring his already-injured ankle during pregame introductions, but at least he played.  Even with some players on the shelf going in, I figured I was safe because of the abolition of the autosub rule, but I guess not.

This game could end up close no matter how things play out roster-wise.  Mark is still waiting for Brooks to play.  If he plays and neither LaVine or Ball does, then Brooks would only need a so-so game to win this.  If he jams then I'll absolutely need either LaVine or Ball to play.  If none of those guys play then, after all the substitutions, Mark would need 9th man Keegan Murray to have a decent game.  A kicker here is if either Oladipo or Fultz make a surprise appearance by Monday, then that would prevent me from a worst-case scenario of playing with only 7 dudes.  That might not win the game for me but at least it would be a fair fight.

LaVine finally played.  Ball and Turner are out for this week so Hayward and Simons move up to my starting and Huerter and Washington move up to my half.  For Mark, Brooks hasn't played yet and has until Monday to do so.  He'll need 30 pts and/or 5 stls + not shoot terribly to get the win.  If he doesn't play then Allen and Murray would each move up one slot and I'd win 4-3.

Brooks played but didn't do anything except shoot 2-13, losing FG% for Mark.  I win 5-2 — pts, assts, 3s, stls and FG%.
